American Water announces changes to its investor relations organization


CAMDEN, New Jersey – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK), America’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater company, announced that Edward Vallejo, vice president of investor relations , had accepted a position with another listed company. His last day with the company is September 17, 2021.

American Water’s Executive and Investor Relations team has been recognized by Institutional Investor Research, ranking # 1 in the utilities sector, as voted by research analysts, for the environment, the social and governance (ESG); Communication of strategy and risk management in the context of COVID-19 and Best Analyst Day.

“While we wish Ed the best, we are pleased to announce that Aaron Musgrave will join American Water, effective September 20, 2021, as Senior Director of Investor Relations. Aaron has extensive experience in this area, most recently with Vectren Corporation prior to its sale to CenterPoint Energy, ”added Lynch. “By working closely with Susan Hardwick, our CFO, and Maureen Duffy, our Senior Vice President of Communications and External Affairs, Investor Relations will keep our engagement open and transparent with all stakeholders. ”

Musgrave was Director of Investor Relations for Vectren for nine years. He was also responsible for financial analysis and forecasting at Vectren. Previously, Musgrave was Chief Financial Analyst at Cinergy Corporation, now Duke Energy.

Musgrave received his MBA from Butler University and his BSc in Accounting, with a minor in Mathematics, from Evansville University in Indiana.
